Volunteer With Us

At Project Life, our volunteers are an essential part of creating a compassionate, inclusive, and empowering space for people living with metastatic breast cancer (MBC). Community Ambassador

Help us extend Project Life’s reach by representing our organization at local events and in your community. As a Community Outreach Lead, you serve as an ambassador building awareness, sharing resources, and fostering meaningful connections.

Whether tabling at a local health fair or attending a national conference, you help ensure people living with MBC know they are not alone.

What You’ll Do:

  • Represent Project Life at approved local events, health fairs, and conferences

  • Staff community tables and share educational materials

  • Distribute postcards and resources to local cancer centers and aligned organizations

  • Engage attendees in thoughtful, welcoming conversations about our mission and programs

  • Support outreach efforts at conferences you’re already attending (e.g., staffing a booth, greeting attendees, sharing materials, assisting with logistics)

  • Complete a brief outreach report following each event or conference

  • Attend a short tabling and ambassador training session
