About the Event
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is everywhere pink ribbons, branded campaigns, performative “support.” But for those living with metastatic breast cancer, it can often feel alienating, oversimplified, or downright infuriating.
UnRibboned is a space for truth-telling. A space to talk about the real experiences of people with MBC the grief, the resilience, the isolation, the community, the frustration with toxic positivity, and the erasure of stage IV realities during BCAM.
No pinkwashing.
No slogans.
Just real talk.
