About the Event
A metastatic breast cancer diagnosis changes many things in our lives, and that includes our relationships.
Sometimes, those relationship changes includes the loss of significant other through divorce.
This is a topic that doesn't get talked about much in the MBC community, and yet it happens and is another source of collateral damage for all parties involved.
Join, PL founder, Lesley Glenn and PL DEI coordinator, Deltra James, both have gone through divorces. Let's chat/share about the changes this brings to living with MBC, and also navigating through yet another difficult challenge.
The divorce rate for terminal cancer patients is higher than the national average.
This is a vulnerable conversation, therefore, this particular conversation is limited to women living with MBC.
One must also be divorced or currently going through one.
We will also limit this talk to 10 participants to allow time for everyone to share.
