Parenting While Navigating This MBC Life - Part (4)

Project Life is offering a four (4) part Parenting series this fall. The series will cover a variety of topics such as the trauma of a metastatic breast cancer (MBC) diagnosis on all family members, talking with children about hard things in ways they can understand, identifying and managing school-related issues that may arise, and helping our children, young or old, find supports that work for them. Each session will begin with information on the topic being discussed, followed by participant discussion. We are all in the same boat and have strategies to share and strategies to add to your tool belt.  It is not required to attend all four sessions. You can pick and choose. However, we have found that participants who attend all or most of a series begin to build a sense of community with others in similar situations. These connections last long after the sessions are over.  Bring your questions, your curiosity, and a willingness to participate.
