June 14, 2021 - Session Title:

"A Creative Awakening!"

Summary:

Discussion on poems focused on nature and the human experience. Come ready to listen to an inspirational poem (TBA) with a group discussion to follow. Feel free to share a nature-based poem by a different poet you love as well, or one you have written yourself!

July 12, 2021 - Session Title:

"Experiencing Nature through Cinematography"

Summary:

Discussion on the film directed by acclaimed filmmaker Louie Schwartzberg, "Wings of Life."  Narrated by Meryl Streep, this intimate and unprecedented look at butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, bats, and flowers is a celebration of life in the natural world around us. Come having seen the film, available on Amazon and available for rental at many local libraries.

August 9, 2021 - Session Title:

Seeing Nature Through the Lens of an Artist"

Summary:

Explore and discuss the work of Award-winning Photographer, TED Fellow, Author of The Big Cloud and Melting Away, Camille Seaman, an American photographer who applies portraiture strategies to capture the changing natural environment. Feel free to share the work with another nature-based photographer you love as well, or your own!

BONUSES:  All participants will be emailed a PDF journal to print out to use during the series.

Weekly emails filled with inspirational quotes, questions to contemplate, fun summer activities such as mocktails, and enjoying nature with your children.

Fun "badge" you can post on social media after completing the series.
