About the Event

Light and healthy, crunchy sesame seed shrimp on top of lettuce with rice.

Ingredients you will need: 

Ingredients:

  1. 2 large egg whites
  2. 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  3. 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  4. 1 teaspoon paprika
  5. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  6. 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  7. 15-30 uncooked large shrimp, peeled, deveined
  8. 3/4 cup sesame seeds
  9. 1/4 cup vegetable or olive oil (my fav is always olive)
  10. 1 Whole Romaine lettuce head
  11. Fresh mint leaves
  12. Fresh orange slice(to squeeze) or orange juice
  13. 1 cup of jasmine rice

Kitchen Tools: 

  • Baking sheet
  • rack(optional)
  • Tongs
  • Rice cooker or cook in saucepan
  • Nonstick skillet
  • Whisk or fork
  • Medium mixing bowl
  • Measuring spoons & measuring cups
