Book Club- The Hospice Doctor's Widow
Time & Location
About the Event
Jennifer O’Brien helps people talk about caregiving and end of life. She encourages compassionate, real conversation through her book, The Hospice Doctor’s Widow: A Journal, where she shares her story of caregiving through collages and writings.
We encourage those living with metastatic disease and their caregivers to attend together.
This is a two-part event:
July 11, 2021 - Jennifer will be joining us for a open discussion about not only her book but also about her experience as she navigated her husbands pending death.
Bring your tissues, and any questions you have for her.
If you can, purchase her book, and read it ahead of time. It is a short read full of lovely art work.
July 25th - Jennifer will return and and answer about her "Peace Tool Kit", filling it out, and any other questions you may have from our first meeting.
If there is enough interest we will be forming a Healing Circle to help continue this very vulnerable conversation during the month of August.
